Start11 v2, no content search

Hi. I have the option to search file contents and I'm using Windows Search which has the files indexed and I can search content directly on Windows Explorer, but I can't get this option to work on Start11 v2 search, it just takes a little more time to show the "normal results" if I enable it, but it does not show searches by content. I've tried to use content:  but doesn't work either, is there something I have to do? Thanks

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. How do one actually search for file content from Default Windows Start panel? I am struggling to test this one.

Thank you.

In Windows you choose which file types are searched, and whether to search Properties only or Properties and File Contents.

I can search by content on file Explorer, it's indexed, I don't know how to do it from start11 search, since the option enabled doesn't seem to do anything but make the normal search slower.

I have turn on the "Index Properties and Content" and let the index process until it was done. Yet, I can not find the content that I am trying to look for. I can not find it via default Windows Start menu the same on Start11 start menu. So my previous question still apply. How do one do search file content via Start menu. Is it even possible?

I know, I can search file content via File explorer.

Thank you,

Can you imagine how long it would take to search your entire drive for content in files, even if it’s only in a few file types. It makes more sense to use the Explorer search so you can limit the search.

Maybe I'm not expressing my self well: I have my files indexed by Windows, I can search in names and content inmediately in the file Explorer; on the search of the task bar I can only search by name, not content, that's normal with windows.

My question is: what does the check in start11 for "search content" do? Since I'm not able to search files by content on start11 search when I enable it, even though my files content is indexed. Or is it something that would only work if I use Everything as search motor?
