Fleet wide support

"Support" cvomponent selection

When outfitting a new ship, there are 5 component types I can choose from, weapons, defenses, drives, support, and special. Are the components in “support” fleet wide. The older GalCiv iterations used to indicate this but it's not as evident now. Choosing Gigamass Core (using 3 Gigamass units) is a lot less painful if this effect is applied to the whole fleet this ship is in.

It's not necessarily fleet wise no. The description would say if it is usually. In the case of the Gigamass Core it's not fleet wise and will only apply to the the ship itself.

Note that there has been talk on the gc4-commons discord to change those components to use energy instead of gigamass. So we'll see what the future holds on that front!
