Microsoft Loop absolutelly breaks Start 11 (Stable and Beta)

Hi! Just installed Microsoft Loop on my 24H2 Windows 11 PC and it absolutely breaks Start 11 on both stable and the current Beta version, the system becomes unstable and unusable after using it. Rebooting fixes it, but reopening breaks it again.

Opening Microsoft Loop doesn't do anything right away, but as soon as I interact with the "introduction" templates all hell breaks loose, the taskbar goes blank, the start menu goes bezerk and even gave me artefacts on the desktop icons.

Hopefully it can be reproduced and fixed asap, it looks like a really cool production app.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I installed Microsoft Loop and I see similar issue upon first using it. But, the issue resolve itself as soon as I reboot the system. And once that is done. Start11 work as normal. However, the issue return while I am testing MS Loop. I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Thank you.

That sounds like a massive resource leak stopping everything painting correctly.

Are you sure the desktop icon part at least doesn't happen without Start11?

It appears only on the icons that are behind the start menu itself, so I believe it's connected to it.

Thanks for the report, we have reproduced it and will have a fix for this in the upcoming 2.5 release.

As a short term solution you can disable Start11 enhanced taskbar, or set it to combine mode.

Thank you for the fast response Neil, looking forward for the newest release. The Microsoft Loop app also works online through the Chrome Browser without interfering with Start 11, so that's what I'm going to do for now.
