Overlayed desktop icons

Hi, I have installed Deskscapes and it is working perfect, except for the desktop icons are now overlapping, it does not happen all the time, but it is ugly and anoying. Anyway to fix this. I use Windows 11, latest version. Here is a screenshot https://app.screencast.com/4afhjeqIATBFh.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more information.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe
  2. Deskscapes full version number.
  3. Does the issue appear on Static wallpapers or Animated wallpapers?
  4. Do you have any other application that control how your desktop icons appear? Such as Stardock Fences?
  5. Do you have any other applicaiton that introduce its own desktop manager or overlay.

Hi Basj,

Thanks for your prompt reply, here is the info requested:

  • Windows 11, version 24H2, Compilation OS 26100.2605
  • Deskscapes version 11.02
  • Problem happens only with video background.
  • I don't use any other app for desktop icons or any other app for the desktop.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
