Changing My Settings

Just a micro rant here. What is it about Microsoft, that they feel they have a right to go behind your back and change some settings against your wishes? I have things setup a certain way, and then I get a email saying that they are going to change the settings back to the way that THEY want, which is NOT what I want. 

Ok. Rant over. Just letting off some steam!  >:(

I don't think I've ever heard of MS sending out emails telling people they're going to change specific settings.  I don't suppose there was some link in there for you to click, and if there was, I wouldn't.

My situation has to do with Microsoft 365 and MS Outlook. I guess they figure since it is THEIR software, they can do whatever the bleep that they want, regardless how I feel.
