Skirantra's repair ability not working

Love the original SoaSE and was delighted to find this sequel/remake.  I have noticed that the Skirantra carrier capital ship's repair ability is not working properly.  It does not seem to autocast when it would be useful.  Moreover, it does not seem to do anything at all when I manually activate it to try to heal itself or nearby damaged ships (I am talking about hull damage, not just damage to shields/armor).  I have noticed this in multiple games playing the Vasari Exodus.  I am not certain whether it happens with the other Vasari faction, though I am guessing it would.  This is a MAJOR problem, given this is the backbone of healing for Vasari fleets.  Please prioritize this bug if possible.

Hey AO, I've just ran a test myself and the repair ability seems to be working as intended. If you can provide a save file or replay where you're not seeing the abilities fire or work, we'd love to see it. Repair Cloud does not stack, and that may be the issue you're seeing if you're running a squadron of carriers and expecting them to be mass healing at once, instead of chain healing. Another Skirantra isn't going to fire off its repair cloud while under the duration of an active repair cloud from an ally carrier.

Additionally, are you running any mods that might be affecting the balance of the game?

Thank you both for the quick responses.  Not using any mods.  I have a saved game, but am not sure how to upload it here.  Happy to do so though if you can direct me.  After seeing your post I loaded the game to double check that I had not missed something.  It looks like part of what I said was correct and part of it was not.  The ability autocast indeed does not seem to work.  For example, in the saved game I have 2 Skirantra carriers and some other caps in a gravity well.  One of the carriers is in a crippled hull state, but the other one (which is nearby) does not activate its repair ability to repair its crippled comrade.  However, if I manually activate it, the situation is that the crippled carrier actually does seem to benefit from the healing.  I did not realize this at first, because the hull repair rate listed in the tooltip for the crippled ship only lists the baseline hull repair rate of 5-6 hp/s.  However, closely watching the current hull point number shows that after manually activating the other carrier's healing ability, the hull numerator does increase faster than the base rate would suggest until the ability expires.  I also see that there is a faint purple cloud around each of the ships surrounding the active carrier during its heal ability after I manually activate it, which I assume is meant to represent the healing cloud.  So overall, the situation is not as quite as bad as I thought, but still would benefit from 2 things: (1) fixing autocast (very important so that the player does not have to micromanage this manually in the thick of a battle); and (2) indication on the tooltip that the heal is being applied.

I think the only 3 targets for the repair cloud can confuse people sometimes, but the auto-cast needs some work, I believe it currently wants to get 3 perfect targets and doesn't cast if there's only 1 target to heal, at least I never got it activated through auto-cast in scenarios, where there are no 3 targets, I saw it sometimes on CD, but there were a lot of times when I checked potential targets with absolutely zero armor left and neither the armor buff nor the repair cloud got triggered.
My suggestion for a more reasonable auto-cast trigger is to have 3 targets OR a capital ship under 50% armor for both abilities' auto-cast triggers. I'm not sure if it can be set that way, but otherwise, a simple 50% single-target armor trigger is more than enough.
It's annoying to see a heavily focused target not taking the 36% armor-heal and max armor str buff-refresh just because it still has the leftover armor boost effect.
