Prevent all windows group automatically

Hi,

I recently upgraded to Groupy 2. I have a problem where all windows are joining group automatically when they are opened. Some apps with multiple windows rejoin a group when windows are minimized/restored. This behaviour also disrupts window location on the screen. I would only like to manually group windows as I did with previous version of Groupy. I have tried Automatic window group settings, and grouping rule but nothing prevents new windows from joining a group. I have manual grouping configured, which works as expected. Some group settings are not available (greyed out).

Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 19045.5247

Can someone provide step-by-step guidance how can I fix this issue?

Thank you.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, need to know, what are your settings like in the Grouping Rules page?

Thank you.

Thanks for response. I think I have figured it out, a blank custom rule was causing the problem.

Grouping rules were blank except some custom rules. One of the rule was accidently left blank. Removing this rule stopped all windows from joining group. A blank custom rule if saved behaves like wild card.
