[BUG] Groupy crashes File Explorer

from Stardock Forums

Issue:

Selecting "Open file location" with a File Explorer already open and Groupy enabled will cause File Explorer to hang and crash.

Cause:

This is caused when "Open desktop folders and external folder inks in new tab" checkbox is ticked in File Explorer's Folder Options under "Browse folders"

Resolution:

Disabling the option stops the issue from occurring.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Unfortunately, I don't have that option in my system "Folder Options", refer screenshot below. Do you have special setting or other 3rd party application to make that option appear?

Sorry I should have specified that I am running a beta version of Windows 11 and understand if this issue cannot be resolved until the feature is added into the public build.

Yes, Stardock do not support Windows preview/beta version. However, I have forwarded your observation to Stardock Support Team for their review. We appreciate your feedback.
