Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information please.

  1. Windows full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these numbers.
  2. Groupy 2 number.
  3. Copy and paste your saved group here so we can see the issue. You could open your Groupy saved group with notepad.

Thank you.

Are you using any File Explorer replacement software like Directory Opus or the like?

Is there a consistency to what folder locations are not opening, meaning, it opens w and y, but never x and z?

If you create a new 5 group with totally different explorer locations, does the behavior change?  If you create a group without Windows File explorer, does it open from a saved group properly?

Did this always happen or is this a new thing (or the 1st time you are trying?

No I don´t use Directory Opus or the like. If I save 5 different program to a group (excel, word, Adobe Reader, Copernic Desktop and youtube app). When I open this shortcut everything works perfectly.

I have always had this problem with Windows File explorer. I have also reinstalled Groupy 2. I have also reinstalled Windows 10, but nothing has helped.

Regards,

Mikael

Again, are any of the folder locations that fail to open the same every time - the same ones fail or ANYTHING over 2 fail?  If its just a consistent 3, are they network locations or perhaps a thumbdrive?

It is always when I have saved more than two tabs (3, 4, 5, 6 etc) for Windows File Explorer.

No network No thumbdrive, Not my neighbor's Windows File Explorer (lol)

In case there was doubt, this is an example of it working

If you have Windows 11 Pro:

  • Fire up a Windows Sanbox
  • Install the latest version of Groupy 2 on it. Please do not change any setting for Groupy at all, leave them default.
  • Create a saved group with Windows Explorer that resolves to:
    • This PC
    • Download
    • Pictures
    • Music
  • Close the group, and reopen the saved group just as I did in the video.

Does it work?

I have told you that I have Windows 10. It does not work. I give up and do not want to discuss anything more
