Game Teleports ships on other side of galaxy

Version 2.92 Megastructures DLC

I started a new megastructures game and twice now the game has teleported my ships to other parts of the galaxy super far from where they were the previous turn.

Why is this happening? Is this a bug? or did some other civilization use a teleporter to move my ships?

I would vote for they upgraded the AI to use the teleportation artifact when it finds one.  You didn't say if you were at war with any AI Civs, but even so the AI might just be using all it's resources to disrupt other Civs.

Not at war with anyone. But I used a random teleport relic on the colony ship that was too far and the teleporter moved it just outside of my ship range boundary and there is a planet close by I can colonize. Looks like problem will be solved in a couple turns.

Might also though I doubt it the frequency of the Worm Hole Generator Anomaly has been increased.

Have had two in the first 35 turns in my current game.

Most likely the RNG just being the RNG.

Not a bug it is the AI using the Worm Hole Generator to send your ships to a Galaxy far far away

Is there a notification when this happens?  I don't recall seeing anything when it happened to me.
