Dream VS wallpaper need to be sperate..

I am a little confused here.  Dreams and wallpapers are different parts of the Wincustomize site already?

Dreams and Wallpapers are different parts of the Wincustomize site, both in the Galleries and the Upload Libraries.

Not in ratings -- they seem to be combined with the wallpapers

(They ARE wallpapers but different)

Are you talking about the Top Skins on the WinCustomize Home page?

Dreams totals added to Wallpapers gallery totals, AM I WRONG??? 

I don't see anything being added to anything, Sed. I see separate tabulations.

If you see totals in 2 different categories added together somewhere, please make a screen shot and add the link (url) so we can all get on the same page. O.K.?

I'm just being a BABY-- How can someone who does DREAMS .. and WALLS be twice ahead of me in WALLPAPER downloads >>>>>> ?? HUH??

Doesn't matter how many he makes, Sed...what matters (if the count is even accurate), is how many times they've been downloaded...if you think appreciation (which is what really matters) equates with some number.

Btw, while folks love to be appreciated, you create to fill a need in yourself...regardless of whether the wall/dream/WB/etc. is downloaded or not. You skin for yourself first and foremost.

I've often thought that the dl numbers should be private, if at all. Same for the ridiculous grading system.

Your art and his is largely A.I. Are we now grading software compliance as a function of the artist's intent? Does prompt formulation skill somehow translate into artistic ability in choosing hue, shade and rendering of form and concept? Are we grading some cloud server that was taught its craft by plagiarism of bits/bytes, hues, etc. from human artists or worse, grading a friend based on a machine's performance?

After all, what the heck does the dl number even mean? Comparing apples and peaches is pointless: Both are delicious in their own way.

I agree with Doc. The number of times an artwork is downloaded should not be a competition. I realize you spend a lot of time working on your art, and your contribution to WinCustomize is appreciated. As Doc said, an artist creates to fulfil a need within him or herself. I hope that you get a lot of satisfaction from your art regardless of the number of downloads.
