Groupy tabs not show up if just one window

I just moved to a new laptop with Windows 11. Groupy 2.2 on Windows 10 on my old laptop shows a groupy tab and the groupy  menu even if there is just one office application open. On my new laptop, that is not the case. That means to open a saved group, I have to first open two applications and group them before I get the groupy menu. I carefully compared settings on both laptops to make sure they were the same, they are.

This has been going on ever since moving to new laptop a few months ago.

Easy to reproduce, just open any office application and the groupy tab does not show up until grouped with another window.

 

Is this a known bug?

 

Old laptop is running Win 10 V22H2 build 19045.5011

This setting is not in the config app.

1) Open two documents in the app you want to always show tabs
2) Right-click the active tab and select Personalize tab>Always show tabs for this type of window

Now this app will always open with a tab showing. :grin:
