Iconpackager

Whenever I try to change a single icon from within iconpackager say open/closed folder from the folder menu it hangs. It simply just freezes forever. Why is this? I'm on windows 11.

Is this the official support forum?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need few more information.

  1. Windows 11 full version and OS Build number.
  2. Iconpackager full version number.
  3. Steps you did to change the icon and which Iconpack you wish to change?

Thank you.

Hi.

Win 11 Pro 24H2

IP ver 10.03

I used it fine for a while. But whenever I try to use the "change icon (right-click)" the program hangs permanently and I have to end it via task manager.

Windows 11 full version and OS Build number.

Need OS Build number, use Winver.exe to get this number.

Thank you,

I can not reproduce your issue. Refer my video below.

Please try this, uninstall IconPackage, reboot immediately after Installation finished. Download latest version available from your account page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot again right after the installation done. Once system finished start up. Apply an IconPackage, than try change one Icon and see if you still have the same issue. Report back.

Thank you,

Yeah you're probably right. But I figured 10 is so close to 11 in this aspect of the os that it didn't matter?
