Minor Faction Transport Cabal should make gates based on # of Planets

Should not be fixed to 3

The Transport Cabal minor faction currently has a hard limit of 3 r phase gates regardless of the number of planets.

This really makes it really inefficient in big maps with 50+ planets.

I suggest instead it should be 1 gate per 10 planets on the map.

 

That way it will be better balanced for bigger maps and give races like TEC and Advent a fighting chance when their fleet is like 10 jumps away

Wouldn't it need a minimum of two gates to function correctly to get to point A from B

I guess if you want to have more gates you can play Vasari.. otherwise you can put 3 gates on key planets and hope for the best. Plus if something so unique to one race becomes easily available it could break the game. Honestly, I'm even surprised you can buy them at all.

Actually if we want to go even deeper :

- you can buy phase gates from Vasari tree (very OP combining with other races)

- You can get some minor perks for economy from TEK tree (far from being so strong as a phase gate)

- what can we buy with influence points from Advent tree? Or am I missing something?
