Not happy with the changes to Looting Crews

The change to make Looting Crews an auction item and replacing it with Smuggler's Den is a bad change in my opinion.

 

- I find it difficult to win auctions against the AI to the point I rarelly bother.

 

- Looting Crews can form an important part to building an economy.  Being able to buy them is crucial to developing that.  Hoping for an auction I'm not likely to win destroys that.  Plus it appears they stop getting offered after a while

 

- The smuggler's den is only useful after you get to Tier 4 so you can summon the raids.  None of the other minor factions abilities is dependent on the other abilities to be useful.

 

I hope the devs will reconsider and perhaps make the Smuggler's Den the auction item (or purchasable somewhere else) and restore the Looting Crews to the store.

Smugglers Den from Sins1 does indeed suck.  Looting Crews, however, works exceptionally well to build an economy AND there is no trade off.  When you have the economy sorted, drop the item and exchange it for another.  

This change does not make sense unless we have AI devs.

I too would like to see Looting Crew back on the faction buy area. Though I agree it was way too powerful before with the 10% exchange. Maybe put it back but keep the new 2.5% value to balance it better.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind if they reduced the percentage. 2.5% seems a little much, 5% seems better in my mind, but it wouldn't bother me if it was 2.5%.
