DeskScapes V11.02 not working with ASUS Optimizer and ASUS Software Manager Services

I am using the latest version of DS 11.02.  I am having the DS app crash, I see an icon labeled COV pop up on the taskbar and DS then just crashes.  I followed the process of turning off all services on the msconfig app and added one by one to see if any of the multiple apps were causing the issue.   I have found out that if I disable ASUS Optimizer and ASUS Software Manager Services on the Start-Up Selection using selective startup, then DS is fully functioning and does not crash.   I am on Win11 24h.  My laptop is a 2024 ASUS ProArt P16..

I would like to know if there is a solution to this incompatibility.  I would like to use DS 11.02 and the MyAsus app to keep my system updated.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. You've mention if you disable two applications DeskScapes work,yes? Please test and see which one is actually causing the issue. Try disable one at a time and see which one giving 100% issue and see if these application also control your desktop and wallpapers.

ASUS Optimizer and ASUS Software Manager Services does not need to run on the background all the time. You would fire up both when needed.

Yes the DS works only when asus optimizer exe services are disabled.   However,  the Asus app is used to control multiple keyboard, display and power setting.   So that is the problem app.   I will contact Asus and see if they can figure out the issue!  I have been using DS without the Asus app fine,  but i need to run the asus app for updates and setting changes frequently,  hence one or the other and constantly rebooting.

Maybe you can search which of that Asus Optimizer setting you can disable to help with the issue.
