Receiving Gift Ships

Unable to move the gifted ships they too far from my planets.

Hi

Another Space Empire is gifting me ships to help me fight the other space empire I am at war with.

But some of the ships I got gifted are too far from my planets and are out of range. So the game does not let me move those ships.

This could be a bug. Why give me gifted ships out of my planets range?

Not a bug you should be able to move them "in Range" then move them like your other ships.

They must go straight to in range though.

This trip to in range will explore the area in-between where the AI gifted them and you in range territory.

So click on a hex in your range, if they still will not move and you have Slipstream movement discovered then your game is borked.

As ghost stated its unlikely to be a bug, but I do see a case for having the game either better communicate or automate ships in this case, and may present that idea to the team
