Group taskbar icons

from Stardock Forums

It would be so nice if Star11 or any other of your software would allow the creation of custom groups in the taskbar. Windows had this option, but it was removed a while back. My taskbar is quite busy and I would love to group some of them together. Clicking on that group would show the icons.

If that makes any sense ...

You can create and pin Folder Menus to the taskbar. For example, create a new folder somewhere on your C: Drive, and then place shortcuts to the Apps, Files, or Folders you want to group together. Now Change this folder icon to something that will help you identify it once it is pinned to the taskbar. All that's left is to pin this folder as a Folder Menu to the taskbar. Repeat this process for each group you want to create.

Give it a try and I think it will accomplish what you are looking to achieve.

There doesn't appear to be an option to show Pin Folder Menu contents on hover in Start11.
