Game crashes into a locked black screen

Hi!
I loved the original Sins for many years and now I have recently purchased Sins 2 through Steam, but the game keeps crashing on me.

This link has my pc specs and a save file just moments away from one of these crashes.

After experimenting a bit starting multiple games, I have kinda figured out that the crash happens when I'm getting around 1 hour of gameplay and there is usually combat involved.

Some other times I am only navigating the game menus just after launching the game when it crashes the same way. It actually crashed like 3 times whenever I deleted quick saves.

Reading here and there, I found out that a suggested tip to fix this kind of crash is to limit FPS. I did. Set it to 60. The crash still happens.

When the game crashes, the screen goes black and my monitor losses signal from my computer. The computer is still on. Sometimes I can hear the video card fan go into max speed. Mouse and keyboard seem unresponsive. The only thing I can do is force shutdown by holding down the power button. And when I turn the computer back on and log into windows, it takes a few minutes for the computer to start running back to normal.

I rarely ever have this kind of problems with games, so I rarely ever use forums to ask for help. I usually fix problems with answers from people who has similar troubles, so I thank and appreciate in advance for any and all help provided

Hello! Thank you for the report, I'm sharing this thread and files with the team, however your link is currently restricted to requested access only. May I also ask if any mods were being run during these games?

To help collect details, it would be helpful if you ran the following support software
This software will arrive as a zip, once unzipped please run the batched executable which will run a command prompt. From there it will open your related Sins folder and youll see a new subfolder labeled Support_Date. Please Zip that file and send it over via dropbox link, google drive, or Discord DM. That new folder will basically contain system specs, logs, mods, save files, and more that can be very helpful.

Your RX 480 graphics card is pretty old. Have you looked into driver updates for it? This kind of crash sounds like a graphics card issue to me, given that the entire PC is locking up and the monitor is losing signal.

It looks like this may be a common issue with your card: https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/f3m6tp/rx_480_black_screen_troubleshooting/

Yes. Driver is up to date with version 24.9.1
I actually had the driver update a few days before buying Sins2. The black screen happened on day 1, match 1. After it happened a few more times the next couple of days, I bought a new monitor because I've different Windows issues with the previous monitor. I thought the new one would help. But no.

And in all the years I've had this video card, this is the first time this is happening to me. Didn't happen with any other game and I am pretty much a stock configuration kind of guy. I never alter anything from their factory settings in order to get a few more fps while gaming.
