Major multiplayer glitch still not fixed

My friend and I can't play multiplayer the way he likes because since 1.0 release there is a glitch.  Example:  Try to set up a large map with 9 teams  because my buddy likes us to play co-op against 8 solo hard AI players.  But setting thee map to 9 teams-- NO ONE CAN BE ASSIGNED PAST TEAM 5,  so, essentially, the max is 5 teams.. bummer.  It says set 9 teams-- let it work that way please.  We could do it before 1.0.

Update: The tooltip states to drag the teammates onto the team Header, that would be the glowing number, rather than the body. doing so works correctly. I do think it should just be dragged to the body, so Ill report it as a quality improvement request
