Outlook hanging lagging when groupy is active

Hello,

unfortunately Outlook local installation 2021 is hanging and lagging when groupy is active.
Fokus, cursor, text input, copy&paste hanging up to 2 seconds every x minutes.

It took a while to figure it out.

When deactivating all groupy processes AND the service then it works again.

The problam was / is on two different PCs.

I belive its since the last update in march 2024. Could be also a Win 11 update.

In settings we said groupy only for "explorer.exe", but that does not help.

We have to switch off goupy permanently because we cannot work like this.

Could you please check what ist the problem? It seems to be something related to the clipborad perhaps..

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows 11 full version and OS Build numbers please. Use Winver.exe.
  2. Groupy full version numbers.
  3. Outlook full version number.
  4. Also, please try this uninstall Groupy, reboot immediately after uninstall done. Re-download Groupy latest version from your account download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot again immediately after installation done. Retest and report back.

Strangely, I don't see the issue while Outlook and Groupy is running on my system. Please try this. Uninstall Groupy 2.15, reboot immediately after uninstall done. Re-download Groupy 2.15 from your account download page. Install it. Reboot immediately again after the installation finished. Retest and report back.

Hello,

after de-installation its good.

Then i re-installed it some days later, now its bad again.

How can i avoid that gruopy is interacting with outlook?

I have a flter "only for explorer.exe" but this does not help.

You could block Outlook in Grouping Rules. Refer screenshot below.

Hello,

i tried several, several solutions. Now its fully clear. As soon as i deactivate all groupy tasks  in task manager, everything works normal.

Its reproducable.

Outlook is blocked in the settings but does not get blocked. Unfortunately the program is no more usable for me.

Can you please check what is the problem?

The might be a conflict with other application, please try Cleanboot: https://forums.stardock.com/488142/groupy-support-faq#cleanboot. Do note, please follow the steps mentioned with care. Try it and report back.
