Trading Developed Planets

Losing Development

Hello community,

 

Being the new player that I am, I am unsure if this is intended behavior or a bug. However, I noticed today that if I trade a planet I've developed (Defense/Mining/Commerce/Research/Logistics) to my ally, it loses all of the progress on its development tracks. Is that intended?

Hello! Yes this is working as intended, but from a logic standpoint I can see your point, ill ask if it can be re explained or re examined for clarity

Thank you for reading and replying! I'm not expecting any changes but if the team is willing to revisit it then I certainly won't complain.
