Launch Multiple Instances of a Program From ObjectDock

It would be great to be able to set a property on each icon in ObjectDock telling it whether to open a current instance or open a new instance.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. In Quicklaunch Dock, there is an option to turn on "Show running application". If you have this turn on, you will have option to open current instance.

Thanks for the reply and for pointing out that setting.

Unfortunately that does not address my issue. As a matter of fact, it was already toggled on. It did, however it did not solve the issue.

The issue is that if I click the browser icon, for instance, I want a new browser to pop up much like the functionality that was available with the quick launch toolbar up through Windows 10. I do not need running programs to show up in my dock because they are in my taskbar.

I now have "Show running applications off so that it only shows the icons I have added. On a side note the last 3 options shown in you screen shot are not selectable on my machine regardless of the "Show running applications" setting.

Finally, is there a way to make ObjectDock recognize how many rows I have my taskbar set to in Start 11 and automatically adjust to that value?

You can right click on the icons and select, Run 'Firefox', for example.

basj and Adam,

basj's instruction as a stopgap does help some. As my intent is to replace the functionality of W10 Quick Launch it would I am trying to do away with the right click and get things back to a mouse move and a right click.

Please ask the developers to consider making "Run 'Program Name' configurable as the default.

Also, it would be nice to have the ability to choose from all of the icons in the resource table of a program executable if you choose change icon when updating an OD launcher.
