Object Desktop Keeps loading after I exit the application

I don't have Object Desktop set to load when windows load.  It will still show in the system tray as loaded.  I will then exit the application.  A few hours later, it will load again and be in the system tray?  Is it working as designed to load without me allow it?  If I exit the program and exit from the system tray, it should not load on its own again.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. It should not do that. But, first, has your turn off "Launch Object Desktop on Window Startup" in Object Desktop setting?

This is how I have the settings?  Maybe I did it wrong.

Start11 - Customize the Start Menu and Taskbar in Windows 10/11.

Try uninstall, reboot, re download latest Object desktop from your account download page. Install Object Desktop. Reboot, Check the launch object desktop.. is unselected. Retest and report back.
