"How do I open a folder in a menu?" - Yuck result

I figured out how to make a folder (ie, Documents) popup as a menu of the enclosed items. Unfortunately, the resulting menu can't be scrolled using a scroll wheel but, instead, requires either clicks on the arrows at the top/bottom of the menu or constant jiggling of the mouse just inside of those areas (below the top arrow, above the bottom arrow). Even then, it's pretty slow (and I have a Core i9 with 48GB of RAM). Essentially, this is reproducing the feature (and performance) already present in Windows (W10, at least) when I add the folder to the Taskbar.

I know I can configure the Documents icon to just open an Explorer window into the Documents folder but I though the point of ObjectDock is to eliminate that (among other things). I was expecting something similar (in performance and feature) to the macOS X Dock. Perhaps I've not configured things properly?

Thanks!

Try clicking on the arrows and don't release the mouse button, this will scroll through the contents pretty fast.

Perhaps a feature request is appropriate here.

Please add a feature or Registry setting to allow for scrolling docked folders which are set to "Show folder in a menu."

Thank you for the responses. Agreed; the popup menu should respond quickly to some sort of "scroll" action. A mouse's scroll wheel would be the logical choice here but it needs to be fast. I imagine the folder's contents (names of files/folders/subfolders) would need to be cached at some point during OD's startup in order to get the speed. Maybe a preference might be added for this just in case other users wouldn't require the speed. I wouldn't want my needs adversely affecting other users (assuming such cacheing increases OD's RAM requirements).
