Player Color Wrong "in game"

No matter what color I choose to play as, no matter which Race, once in game the game displays My Buildings and Ships incorrectly.

Example:

I choose to play as RED in game setup but once in game my ships and building are Grey.

How to I fix this?

I tried validating files in Steam and even Uninstalled the game, reinstalled but there was no change/help.

Just checking, when picking the color are you sure you don't have the "minimal color" option on as opposed to full color?

If they're legit 100% grey than sounds like a bug for sure, but if you have that option on, they'll have very little color and you may just be missing it.
