Start11 v2.08 Icons jumping around

After having Windows open for most of the day, eventually an icon will start jumping around. You can see the red icon appears to the side and beneath the Teams icon. When moving the mouse over it, it will move to the correct space, however it will jump between the spaces quickly.

The application isn't specific but it does seem to affect the icon 8th along, though I can't confirm with certainty.

Jumping icon

After a while the Taskbar right-click menu stops working and just shows a compressed bar (like all the menu items are missing but the menu is being shown) and the Start Menu also stops working properly.

Using C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start11>Start11.exe UNLOAD does let me get my computer back to a usable state, however to use Start11 again I need to restart my computer and then run C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start11>Start11.exe, it doesn't automatically show the Start11 menu.

Thanks.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, there is a new version 2.09 Beta out. It it best if you can try this version. What you should also do is: Uninstall Start11, reboot immediately after uninstall finished. Download Start11 v2.09 Beta from your account download page. Install it. Reboot immediately again after the installation finished. Test it and report back.

Thank you.

Sorry, if you still on trial, the beta version is not available for you. What you can do is try the steps mentioned above, if you able to re-download the version available for you. If not,  just re-use the version you downloaded before.

Is this a touch enabled device? If not, try the following setting under Taskbar touch mode detection.

I bought Start11, uninstalled the current version and put the beta on following the steps above, but after 10-12 hours the jumping icon thing starts happening again.

That is also with pelaird's suggestion to force it to not use touch mode.

Do you have any other application running in your system that also control or change how your taskbar behave?
