start11 "dings" AT ME

Hi everyone,

I've been using Start11 for a while now, and while I love the customization it offers, I'm having a major issue. Whenever I open the app or try to do anything with it, it just dings at me. I can't even change the settings because every time I try, it just dings again! It's incredibly frustrating.

Has anyone else experienced this? How can I stop these notifications or at least get the settings to work properly? Any help would be

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, from what I remember, I never read similar issue from others on Start11. When did you start having this issue? Was there Windows update done before the issue start? Was there a new software/hardware upgrade to your system.

Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe
  2. Start11 full version number.
  3. Does the error audio tone come with popup notification?
  4. Does all the setting no longer work?
  5. Have you tried uninstall Start11, reboot immediately, re-download Start11 latest, install it, reboot again immediately?

Not sure about your version number is this Windows 10 or 11? also ver 22H2.1? I can not seem to find this version. Is this accurate? Please use Winver.exe. It should be already in your system, since it usually come along with your Windows.

If this is the correct version, I believe it is best for you (the OP) to updates to the latest official release Windows 11 23H2. Do that and report back.

It sounds like the activation dialog should be open somewhere on screen so the config app is disabled from accepting input hence beeps when you click on it.

Given you are on an ARM processor I would recommend installing 2.09 beta.

Currently latest release available is Start11 v2.10. Start11 v2.09 Beta no longer available for download.
