Demigod, can't login using my Stardock account...

Like the title says, i can login the website and forums just fine using my Stardock account.

But when i launch the game from Steam and try to login to online multiplayer it "invalid username and/or password" :(

Any help would be appreciated.

I changed my username from Cyberaapje with a bunch of numbers on the Stardock website to just Cyberaapje, so i could remember and login to the game easier.  Maybe that's the issue? (i don't remember the bunch of numbers behind my name which i removed, so i can't try login using that).

Same, was in a game, crashed...can't get back into multiplayer

Same problem for me.

I played a multiplayer game, so the password was working, then I crashed and it wouldn't let me log back in.

To try and correct this issue I:

* Rebooted
* uninstalled/re-installed Demigod
* Deleted the stardock dir under Appdata
* Reset the password (works on the website, stored in pw manager, so not a typo issue)
* Tried a simple password with no special characters
* Tried using my username instead of email address, even though that had worked fine
* Let it cooldown for 24 hours
* Tried a european vpn

Not sure what else to try at this point.

I have the same issue. After a crash I tried to log back into multiplayer and it failed with the same message. I dug into the logs and found the following error (I simplified the XML part):

Exiting CPVInterface::ClientLogin()
Error from CVP. Response XML: CVPLoginResponse, ResponseCode 5203, Sorry, but you have exceeded the max logins for this account. Please try again later.

I also use the steam version. I assume that for some reason the server does not recognize that the login is coming from the same PC/Installation anymore. Sins of a Solar Empire multiplayer login works still fine, so it seems to be a Demigod specific issue. Judgeing by the posts it is also a recent issue for multiple users.

As the multiplayer function of the game with steam has been running fine now for years, something must have changed. It would be great in case you could provide some kind of fix/workaround.

Having the same issue now, have owned the game via Steam and played multiplayer previously. Cannot log in, and creating a new account does nothing.
