Start11: Tray menu is on top unexpectedly

Hi there. I've purchased Start11 2 weeks ago and now using it for positioning taskbar on second monitor on top. Here is the problem: when I open system tray, it appears on top of the main monitor even though main monitor's taskbar is in default position on bottom. This behavior is consistent and happens from system boot and restarting explorer doesn't help.

  • Start11 version — 2.08
  • Exact Windows version / build  23H2 / 22631.38110
  • Steps to reproduce:
    1. "Let Start11 enhance the taskbar" set to disabled
    2. Align taskbar of main monitor to bottom
    3. Align taskbar of secondary monitor to top (only one secondary monitor in my case)
    4. Now system tray always appears as if the main monitor's taskbar is on top, but it's not

Hey there again!

I'm wondering if this bug was reviewed by someone. Just want to know if it's practically not possible with the way Win 11 works and not worth fixing OR is it some simple oversight in boolean flags or something that I can wait for it to be fixed sometime?

It is a major drawback for me personally, because the ability to move taskbar on top for second monitor only was the reason I tried Start11 in the first place ;P

Have you tried the latest Start11v2.11?
