How Can I Revert Back to the old Resistance Ships

The latest update completely changed the look of the Terran Alliance and the Terran Resistance ship styles. Can anyone help me figure out how to revert back to the old Terran Resistance ships? Not digging the new style ships at all.

[EDIT] I was able to revert the Terran Alliance ships back by simply renaming their ship style set in the FactionDefs xml file in my custom mod, but haven't had any luck with the Terran Resistance.

That didn't work for the Terran Alliance, it just made the game crash on start up. I don't play as either of these factions, just want their old ship designs back.

Unfortunately I do not believe there is a way to revert outside of creating custom ship style set or downloading a similar style from the workshop.

However, maybe there's more too it. when you had that crash you mentioned did you submit a crash report? And under what info? Maybe we can find it.

No, didn't submit a report. I found a work around for the Terran Alliance for the time being. Just copied the faction in the civ builder and then changed their ship style. Unfortunately, The game developers didn't feel a need to include a Legacy Resistance Ship Style to choose from. Could build one myself but I was hoping there was an easier way to revert back.
