Cooked 1 laptop, my new one runs HOT

I am attaching images of my settings to see if readers have any suggestions to help me lower the load and heat.  TIA

Try turning on VSync

If it's a NVidia based card you can also do the FPS framerate limiter. I recommend setting this globally.

Launch NVidia control panel.
Click Manage 3D settings

On the Global Settings tab find Max Frame Rate and set it to the refresh rate of your monitor. However, this might not be the only cause of heat on your PC. GalCiv series in general likely taxes your CPU far harder than most games you might play. Might want to consider getting a laptop fan to rest your laptop on because they typically dont have amazing cooling.

I have a cooling pad but I just ordered the IETS GT500 cooling pad.

I run HWTemp and the CPU shows the highest temps.

Thank you.
