Ship Movement / Animation Speed

As I understand it, there are really only 2 animation speeds when it comes to ship movement.

  • Default (which I find too slow....)
  • Fast Move (which is effectively, teleport to target hex)

It would be really nice if there was something in between these two.

Hello, I appreciate the thought, currently the focus is on larger features and fixes, but I'd like to hear what you had envisioned

Faster animated movement, without teleporting to the target hex.  I still want to see the path traversed.

I would like this too.  Maybe you could just slow down the 'Fast Move' a bit?   I would think that would be an easy change.

As it works now I never use the 'Fast move' as I don't like the 'teleport' effect.

Test post to see if I fixed my avatar (which was not working).

Well it's still broken.   When I go to account management/account info my avatar is there.  It's 100x99.

Any suggestions as to why it's not working and how I can fix it?

It shows up in my dashboard and on the Galciv4 webpages but not in the forums.

I don't use the 'Fast Move' either for the exact same reason as you.

I wonder if anybody uses it?

I suspect 'Fast Move' was something that was put in a long time ago, which I doubt anybody uses...

and was never meaningfully implemented as nobody fussed enough about it.
