Hotkeys conflicts with other programs

Hello, I'm having trouble using hotkeys to switch between tabs.

I'm typing Japanese in Microsoft Word, which involves working with many tables. The "Window+Ctrl+`" (or rather, "Ctrl+`") conflicts with the Japanese Input's hotkey for switching input modes, and the "Ctrl+Tab" conflicts with tabbing in Word's tables. I would appreciate it if Groupy could allow users to set different hotkeys beside "Window+something". For example: Ctrl+PageUp/PageDown. (I'm quite used to these)

You could try a free app called Microsoft PowerToys (available in the Microsoft Store). It has a module called "Keyboard Manager" and one of the options is to remap a shortcut to another shortcut, with an option to specify a specific app. So, you could remap the Groupy shortcut for tab switching to any shortcut(s) you like and specify it to work only with WORD. I think this could solve your problem. The only thing I'm not sure about is how this would work with Groupy. You might have to specify "Groupy" as the app.

An example: I use it to remap Win (left) + D to Ctrl (left) + Alt (left) + NumPad 5. It works great and solves a number of problems for me.

Give it a try and see if it works.

EDIT: I tested this and it seems to work if you use "winword" as the specified app.

So, after a process of trial-and-error using PowerToys, I've finally found a workaround for my problem.

I set my hotkeys for switching tabs to "Window+\" (since I rarely use \, and it seems this combination doesn't conflict with anything I know). Then, in Keyboard Manager, I remapped it to something like this:

Ctrl+PgUp to Win+Ctrl+\

Ctrl+PgDn to Win+\

It worked like a miracle. There was no need to specify it to work only with Word because I use Groupy and Japanese Typing for other apps too.

For now, I'll stick with this method. Thank you for your suggestion.
