Groupy closing window with multiple tabs not the tab

Hi, 

I upgraded to groupy 2 as I moved to windows 11. When I close a tab with the ‘x’ button in the tab, it closes the whole window even if a have other tabs in the same window. How do I prevent this from happening. Even if I go into the groups menu and click ‘close this tab’, it closes the whole window.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. That should not be unless you have turn this option on.

Please check this option and turn it off and see if that help. If this is not the case, need to know more on your issue.

  1. Windows 10/11 full version number. Please use Winver.exe
  2. Groupy 2 version number.
  3. Is this issue happening on any grouped application?

Hi thanks for getting back to me.

No do not have that option turned on. 

my windows version is windows 11 home 23H2

groupy version 2.15

i don’t use it on other applications just explorer

Please try this, uninstall Groupy 2, reboot immediately after uninstall finished. Redownload latest version from your download account page. Install it, reboot again after installation finished. Retest and report back.

Hi unfortunately that didn’t work I still have the same issue. 

thank you for your time and guidance I really appreciate it but I will just stick to windows standard tabs instead for now.
