deskscapes 11 has stopped working- even after uninstall completely and reinstall :(

Hi, for an unknown reason when I try to download a new wallpaper or dream or whatever- or apply a new background the whole screen firstly greys out and then returns me to the main page. I'm totally unable to use this program anymore even though it's been working perfectly until a week ago

hi, quite possibly a windows update.. there have been a few. I've not updated or installed anything else. I've no idea how to negate this though so I've uninstalled deskscapes which is making me cry. I liked it so much I installed and gifted it to two other people too and now I'm the one who can't use it,weep

What version and build of Windows are you running?

Are you using the DeskScapes Beta 11.01.0?

windows 11 pro 23H2 and I've tried deskcapes beta 11.01.0 and had the same result. I've now uninstalled that completely and done a clean install of the official version but I'm still having the same problem unfortunately. I'd go back to the old deskcapes that I've used for what seems the previous 100 years but 11 is so much nicer.

I'm running this version of Windows and I have no problems with DeskScapes 11, so it probably wasn't the Windows update. It's more likely that something is interfering with DeskScapes 11.

One other possibility is "Animate controls and elements inside windows" is disabled.

Thank you, goodness knows then.. Sorry for taking ages to reply I'm at work but I've looked and "Animate controls and elements inside windows" is enabled. I wish it hadn't been lol...
