Known issues

While we appreciate all feedback, please remember that we offer no official support for beta \ preview \ developer channel versions of Windows. If you report issues while in any of those early release channels, you should not expect them to be addressed unless it still exists in a retail version of Windows.

This software forgets the activation key from time to time. Now stardock even forgets I've upgraded to v2 at all! I only find v1.

Frustrating!

No idea what you mean with ARM.

I've upgraded from  v1 when v2 came out. Anyways I've made a ticket, my mail with the v2 key is lost and it's nowhere in my account..

is this the release that has ARM support baked in?

Currently, one needs an Object Desktop subscription (and to use that key to activate) for it to function on an ARM device.

I believe this version support ARM system. But, you will need ObjectDesktop active subscription key to activate it.

I am a little confused, why do I need an objective desktop license to use the general release version? I thought OD was for beta testing?

When will this become GM?

Object Desktop subscriptions have more features available to them than standalone versions - not many currently but this is one and there will likely be more in the future. It's pretty standard practice stuff.

It will at some point but no exact date has been set.

I have a buy another five-pack license since I have other computers to install it on. Is there some kind of discount that I can get when buying a second five-pack license?

Existing owners of any version of Start11 get a discount.... Just use the 'upgrade' option

Just for clarity, when V2.07 becomes GM this release is expected to include ARM support?

And here I didn't realize that I had a second Start11 v1 license that I didn't upgrade to v2 yet. I got that second license upgraded now. I now have two v2 licenses for five systems.

Windows 11 23H2

Please fix the transparency of the new features.

If possible, fix the right-click menu on the taskbar (Probably related to the experimental function).

Issue: https://youtu.be/3mD_qJmkWoQ

It's hard to tell from your short video what exactly your issues are. Could you be more descriptive of the issues.

Not sure what feature's transparency you are talking about, nor the right-click menu issue.

Which build of 23H2 are you running?

Transparency:

The transparency settings are as follows:

90% is the most transparent, while 10% is the least transparent, and Solid is opaque.

Right-click the Tab group and select Appearance.

This is the least user friendly support forum we've ever seen.  Hope this is how to get support.

Just upgraded to your latest lifetime version Start 11.2 for Windows 10.1 Pro and the Start button (now comes up with a list of bloated windows apps that we do not use.  Our Start menu (All Programs) was customized and clean with Windows destop apps sorted into folders -- WOrked find before last paid update.  HOw to get it back to how it was? THere appears to be NO option to unpin these annoying app shortcuts -- and they obscure our organized start menus -- and if we go to OPEN ALL Users, these app shortcuts are not listed.  How TO FIX?

My Start11 Menu icons in tabs are WAY smaller than they were. They are set to Default (and always were on Default but they showed up bigger) but now are super tiny. No other changes made, just installed the new build today (Version 2.07). Windows 11 Pro 23H2 (22631.3447). I'm running an UW monitor at 144Hz and a resolution of 3840x1600.

In Start 11 v. 2.07, with Windows App Style view, is there a way to have more than 2 rows of pinned icons?
