ObjectDock does not recognize position of monitors

Greetings Programs!

I am using ObjectDock v2.20.0.862 on Windows 11.

I have the following display configuration:

Monitor 1 is my primary and I want to display the dock on monitor 3.

Unfortunately ObjectDock recognizes the order differently:

Display:            2   4   1   3   5   6
ObjectDock:     3   2   1   6   4   5

In order to show on monitor 3, I have to select monitor 6 in ObjectDock but once the computer locks the screen and I log back in, the position of the dock always switches to the primary monitor and does not stay on monitor 6.

When I go to change the monitor back in ObjectDock, monitor 6 is still selected and I have to click on it again in order for the dock to switch back. I am not switching to another monitor and then back to monitor 6, I just have to click monitor 6 for it to jump back.

Any thoughts as to what could be causing this?

Thanks,

Wg

Since OD2 is not compatible with Windows 10/11. Would like to suggest for you to try OD3 and report back.

Hi Basj,

I installed v3.01.

This version of ObjectDock still does not recognize the display order of the monitors (it still maps as in my previous post - even after multiple reboots).

Thankfully though, I am no longer experiencing the switching of the dock to the primary monitor and it remains where configured.

Thank you,

Wg

Why hasn't anything else happened here?

I have a similar problem:

A total of 8 docks, 4 of which are assigned to the primary monitor and 4 to the secondary monitor.

For years, I had no problems, but for the past few weeks, after starting the PC, the 4 docks are sometimes arranged backwards, with all of the primary monitors on the secondary monitor and vice versa.

This doesn't happen every time I start it, but it happens completely randomly.
