Startup and Multi-display problems

Item 1: ObjectDock takes a LONG time before it starts. Fences and other Stardock apps seem to start pretty quickly but not ObjectDock so means have to go hunting for an app in start menu rather than a quick launch from ObjectDock

Item 2: Doesn't appear to be any integration of ObjectDock with Start11

Item 3: On a dual display monitor the dock sometimes shows on display 2 and sometimes on display 1. There doesn't seem to be a way to drag the dock onto the primary monitor. Only way to get it onto display 1 (primary) is to do a reboot.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I try to help on your issue.

  1. How long it "LONG" in your system?
  2. In what way you would expect integration between Start11 and OD?
  3. I have dual monitor setup. I can click and drag the tab dock to another monitor without issue. But, with the normal dock, yes I can see dragging don't work on it. I forward this issue to Stardock Support Team for their assistance.

Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Thanks

ODock itself should load reasonably fast, its the config UI that needs some work still.

Item 2: Doesn't appear to be any integration of ObjectDock with Start11

Start11 is the Start menu in ODock and shows when clicked or invoked otherwise.

Item 3: On a dual display monitor the dock sometimes shows on display 2 and sometimes on display 1. There doesn't seem to be a way to drag the dock onto the primary monitor. Only way to get it onto display 1 (primary) is to do a reboot.

While improvements could likely be made here, you can move it to any monitor you like from the config

1. Long - 3 to 4 minutes after all other apps have started

2. Integration - Start11 settings were lost after installing ObjectDock. I uninstalled Start11 v2 and reinstalled and it seems to be okay now.

Hi, I have the same problem, and to answer the question, it's not terribly long - maybe 2-3 seconds but very annoying as it interrupts the workflow.

Cheers,
