Windows 10 VS 11 In 'System Compatibility Matrix

Will Windows 11 Have All Available Software

Hello;

Got a question here that can be easily answered by a member of the sales department but for the life od me I do not know how to get them to talk so here goes.

I am thinking of buying Object Desktop for my Windows 11 for a 1 year subscription which has a reasonable price to pay, however should I decide to buy it will it ever match the number of softwares available that Windows 10 has of the EXACT  same product purchase has, now I realize Windows 11 is a fairly new version with different core programming and perhaps some of these other software have to be updated to work so please do not ridicule.

Different Versions For Different Windows

Thanks for the help on this matter.👍😉🖥️

Short answer is no. Some apps like Curtains cannot be updated for Win 11 because of changes made to that OS by MS. If you look at the list, it will never be an exact match because some apps that were made for 10 already has a new version for 11. Most of the popular apps have been updated though, and work under Windows 11, as you can see.

The ones that work on Windows 10 that has not (yet) been updated are: Curtains, Icon Developer, Soundpackager, Spacemonger & Thememanager. Some of these may or may not get updated, but nothing official announcement has been made.

Thanks Jan for the help, I will buy it and see what happens over the year of the subscription, if nothing changes it will be easy to just not renew.

One other thing off topic the purchase price in my opinion should be for life, not just a year.

Object Desktop is Stardock's Subscription Service to their software.  It is not a one-off purchase by definition.

The current [new] process is that your on-going subscription enables access to all the listed programs and any others that may evolve/change within that subscription time.  In the same manner that your AV program is active only during its subscription and will cease to function once the suscription is no longer current the same will apply to the Object Desktop [subscribed] software.

Object Desktop is by far the best option for ongoing and extensive use of Stardock's suite of programs as provided you're using several of them it's the most economical and keeps your system future-proof...;)
