Can't Pin Group to Windows 11 Taskbar

Hello,

I'm sorry if this has already been covered somewhere.  I did spend about an hour searching.

I've been a paid user of Groupy for a while now.    I've just upgraded to Groupy2 and decided it was time to really take advantage of its functionality.    One of the features I was really excited about was the ability to pin groups to the taskbar.     Unfortunately, whenever I choose Pin Group to Taskbar nothing appears on the taskbar.     Windows 11 Pro, Version 23H2.    Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know a bit more on your system.

  1. Windows 11 v23H2 full version number. Use Winver.exe.
  2. Groupy 2 version number.
  3. How do you "pinned" Saved Groupy group" to taskbar? Do you have Stardock's Start11v2 installed?

Thank you.

I would recommend uninstalling Groupy 2, rebooting and reinstalling just to be sure all the Groupy 1 files were removed.

Neil, I uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled.   No joy.

Basj, here's the info you requested:

1.  Windows 11, Version 23H2, Build 22631.3235

2.  Groupy version 2.12

3.  I clicked the Groupy icon of the group I wanted to pin and chose Group/Pin Group to Taskbar.    Nothing appears on the taskbar as a result.

4.  I do not have Stardock's Start11v2 installed

Thanks for your help, guys.

I don't know what changed, but it's now working perfectly.    I think perhaps after uninstalling Groupy2, rebooting, and reinstalling Groupy2 I needed to reboot again.    This is great!   Thanks again for your help.
