This may be helpful. I am enclosing a link to a similar issue posting. Someone could not install Deskscapes 10. If you still have issues, reply back and perhaps someone else can assist you from Stardock or Wincustomize.

Thanks,

Unfortunately I tried the %ProgramData%\Stardock\ fix to no avail. Also, this is a new machine and I have no previous installs to remove, so I'm still stuck.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, what error message popup? Also need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows 7,8,10 or 11? Also need its full version number.
  2. CPU ARM/Snapdragon base?

Thanks

Hello Basj:

After clicking Install on the Object Desktop dialog next to DeskScapes, first a white popup

"Installation Error

There was an error during installation"

Then a red popup: "DeskScapes 11 Error Occurred" after a blue popup "Deskscapes 11 added to queue"

What error was that "red popup" about? Screenshot of the red popup would be great.

Sounds like you may have a 3rd party software causing your problem.

If DeskScapes is showing in programs try uninstalling and reboot .

Then try a Clean boot https://forums.stardock.com/485954/deskscapes-support-faq#cleanboot

Then try reinstalling DeskScapes and see if that works .

Then report back here, please.

Not using the OD app , go to Windows programs and uninstall from there if showing, then try the Clean  Boot Install , and report back here please .

Actually there in no need of script running. Just go here. https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Where you can download all the installer of Stardock product that you've purchased. Download the one for Deskscapes. Latest version. And install that file you download. That is it.
