Applications do not appear in the taskbar when right clicking.

Applications do not appear in the taskbar when right clicking. For example, I downloaded Nilesoft Shell, and when I Shift + Right Click on the taskbar the "Shell" option should appear to configure it, however, the modification that Start11 v2 made to the taskbar does not allow applications to appear when doing Right click on the taskbar.

 

EDIT: Another user posted about this a month ago, but the issue was not fixed. Using Enhanced taskbar doesn't allow third party apps to be available in the Taskbar Right Click.

Try downloading and installing the latest Beta version 2.0.6.2. Open the Registry and create a new String "S11_UseOldRightClickMenus" and set the value to 1. Use HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8 for the location of the new string. You will probably have to reboot for this to take effect.

How do you download beta versions of Start11 v2?

When is that beta coming to fix this issue (ETA)?

Hey! Sorry for the late response.

Just made that registry edition and it in fact brought back the Win11 start menu!
