What version of Groupy are you installing?

Yours is the first report I am aware of.

i have both groupy as well as groupy 2 - both do the same thing (both fresh downloads from my account page on stardock downloads)

Any ideas? what do you need to see to help?

Is there anyone that can help me here?  Ideas? inquiries? Things to look for or check?

I am a paid customer and i have been without use of the software for a few days. :/

Hoping its something simple that im overlooking

no im not installing both at the same time, i have tried both independently of each other, on a fresh windows install.

After groupy installs and gets to installing services and kills explorer i have no ability to navigate no matter how long i wait.  I have had this happen on other systems but i usually just manually run explorer once and carry on (or reboot).

This machine my only option is to go to task manager  and "run new task" and open revo uninstaller to uninstall groupy.  Even if I reboot before uninstalling i have no explorer.

I tried the purge, it errored saying it couldnt find the uninstaller.

edit: new comments and trying to clean up thoughts

some ideas from stardock support would be appreciated.  What can I supply to get some insight as to why this might be happening.

Are you trying to install Groupy 2 on a 'new pc' that has an ARM processor?

If so, that is most certainly the issue.

I will try the clean boot but its a fresh windows install. might just do another full windows reset and try yet again.

and no its not an ARM CPU.  its 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1360P

Just to confirm, when you said explorer.exe can not run. Meaning the Windows File explorer will not open or the entire Explorer.exe not running. If Explorer.exe can not run, lot of other things will also not work like your taskbar and start panel also will not show up.

Thank you,
