ObjectDock Settings problems on Windows 10

Hello, I have ObjectDock and always used on my Win10 computer, I really like this dock and I also would like an update, please.

Anyway this is the new problem,

I have a new PC and installed Windows10 too. The dock Worked good when installed but after some days now I can't add icons on the dock and when I clicking on the Settings option, the setting window not appear.

I have tried to uninstall it again, deleted the Local App Data Folder and restarted the PC. So I have reinstalled again the software but also with the standard configuration I have the same problem now. Settings window not appear.

Is there here someone that could help me to understand the problem, please?

I also read all the FAQ but I haven't found nothing about this problem.

thanks.
Ciro

Sorry to be the one to tell you, but Object Dock was discontinued long ago, and is not fully compatible with Windows 10. It works for some users under Windows 10, depending on what they have added to the dock. There are to my knowledge no plans to udate Object Dock.

Please do not post the same issue in multiple threads. I have moved your comment in the other thread here:

Oh no, really? but if it is discontinued why I still can purchase it? I haven't read on the page that it is discontinued :( I also was planning to purchase also for my notebook and for my PC at work place :( damn, Objectdock is the better dock on the market and it is discontinued?

I have used it in the past on windows10 for years without problems, this problem is the first I have since 10 years by now. Probably it could have a solution if someone that developed the Objectdock could suggest something to check.

thanks.

Before buying any software, there's always important to read the system requirements before making a purchase. Quite a lot of software for Windows 7, 8 & Vista are still available for purchase simply because many users are still using those OSes.

I have answered your other questions in reply#1

I had just replied to another thread and I do not agree with the fact you removed my reply from that thread dedicated to the objectdock.
Replying in other threads is more easy to have a reply from different people and not only you.

Whether you agree or not is not the point here. There are forum rules here like in any other, and double posts are not allowed for obvious reasons.

I don't know maybe I can't express myself in English and so you don't understand me. But that wasn't a double thread, it was a response to other users, in another discussion other users were discussing how you created problems with Objectdock and many users were disappointed that you abandoned it.

So I added my response and asked them as well.

Instead, you have created more harm and confusion by moving my response here than I did by responding to them in the other thread.

A good forum moderator should use common sense and not blinkers.

BTW, I suggest to the developers to write a big red clear "DISCONTINUED" on the ObjectDock page. Better to not play with the sentence "It is written that only works on Windows 8" or "important to read the system requirements before making a purchase"... doh

I am sorry to tell you that you are wrong.

Hello,
You're responding to a thread that was last responded on Jan 2024. Which at that time the new ObjectDock v3 was not release yet. Back then ObjectDock v2 was on sales but it does not compatible with Windows 10 and 11.

Thank you.

ok. the point goes to you.

i also use objectdock v2. 2x with Windows 10. once with absolutely no problem (at home) once with massive problems (at work).

I only read after your post that the screenshot of me refers to version v3.

With version v2, for example, I also have the problem that the settings do not open after clicking.

Also, strangely enough, I have objectdock open twice, although it is only installed once. So I have the bar open twice. With 2 different appearances.

Not clear on this one, are you having issue on your current OD v3 or v2?
