Groupy 2 suddenly failed on my win10 system to group many software including Explorer. I can't do the grouping manually either. I tried reinstalling it and that didn't work.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Which Windows 10 you're on now? Use Winver.exe to get Windows 10 full version number. For example. Windows 10 Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.3803) something that look like screenshot below.
Also, what happened between it was working and now? Software updates? Windows updates? System crashes? etc

The version of Windows 10 i use is also Windows 10 Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.3803).
And im not very sure about what happened between it was working and now, i just find it doesnt work yesterday. I don't use the computer much because im on vacation. No version updates or system crashes as far as i remember.
Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

This is going to sound really dumb, but is it possible Groupy is set to disabled in the UI?
If you are using Groupy 2 you need to scroll down on the main page to see the option for this.
I know it's possible. And i have tried to this change this option many times.
And the groupy still working on some software.
