Object Desktop / Fences 5

I have a current subscription to Object desktop which expires on 01/08/24. This includes Fences 4. Do I need to wait until the renewal date to get access to Fences 5? It seems strange that I may have to 'buy' Fences 5 now, and then have access to it at no additional charge in 8 months time.

Fences 5 should already be included in your subscription.  Is it not showing on your downloads on the store?
