Not getting "free" ships from culture or anomalies

Free ships, such as the 3 colony ships from Fairness or the Overlord ship from the nanite artifact, do not show up in my games since the previous update. Only the 3 mining ships from the tech research appear. This can be somewhat crippling for early games.

All the "free" ships are can only be received if they are the original version of that ship type.

If you have deleted one or more of those originals, you will not get free ships of that type. 

You can design improved versions of these ships however do not delete the originals.

This is not a bug but works as designed.

Maybe it should be looked at as a future change, but only if they have the time as at this time there are many more important things to work on.

If this is not what is happening to you then post a save so the Devs can have a look.

Yeah, I had figured out that you need to have the original ships in order to get the freebies, but I had one thing just happen that I don't know the cause. I used the Nanite Transmitter to gain an Overlord and nada. Just nothing at all. Tried reloading a couple of times but it still wouldn't work.

That is one the devs need a report (you have) and a save game.

Awww... crud. S'kay, thank you for the info!

Yeah, I went through & clear-cut all the stock designs (obsoleted 'em) in order to have my own schema.

I've also had the Overlord ships not appear, which was particularly annoying since I'd been sandbagging charges until I needed 'em & not having them when needed was an in-game issue (I managed to survive, but a lotta lotta colonists didn't...)

Regarding a save game file: it's also in the same game file as my other issue (with the game freezing).

In that case feel free to put the save file here via drop box link and outline both issues in the same post or send it over to me via DM on discord to take a look
