Windows 11

Need help with setting up mouse for clicks.

Hi,

Ive had this program installed before, maybe roughly in 2014-2016. During that period i figured out that I could edit my mouse cursor to a standard aero mouse, but while pressing down left click, it would flash to black. (as seen on livestreams way back). I don't remember which program caused the mouse to do this but the person streaming didn't see this, it would appear for the viewers as a "highlight" where the person streaming would be clicking.

Like I said, I was able to duplicate this effect by adding one aero mouse to my cursor editor as a "png"  and one black aero as a "png" but now, after some years have passed I tried doing this on windows 11, nothing happens. Is there a solution to this?

FYI; none of the mouse pressing effects work.

Moved to CursorFX section.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, you're referring to which Stardock program?

Thank you.

Need to know,

  1. Your Windows version numbers. Use Winver.exe.
  2. CursorFX version.
  3. Are you referring to CursorFX Effects don't work? Refer screenshot below.

Thanks for your reply

Unfortunately, I’m not talking about mouse effects. I’m referring to the «my cursor» section. In this section you can edit your mouse cursor in «normal state» and «pressed State» the normal State works completely fine, but when I press it doesn’t apply the effect.

I understand, is there a fix for this yet? I paid for full version because I wanted to use this as a feature, how do I proceed forward?

This can be fixed if all cursors could install on Windows without keeping CursorFX running:

CursorFx cursors

This folder has many:

.CursorFX

.CurXPTheme

After having bought CursorFX it terribly slows down my machine, please make these themes sets also with install.inf file to install them easily... to use them without having CursorFX running.

Also, someone should make another program like CursorFX to compete with it and also be lightweight on system resources.

Ok?

I am working on an auto converter.  but i have no clue on how to contact owners to get permission.  I wish the download files have permission and licenses in them =(  So far I have managed to auto convert .cursorfx and .curxptheme.

Seriously the designers for the cursors are aamazing.  So many high tech looking cursors.  I know windows has basically made CursorFX obsolete with their DPI scaling.
