Icon not refreshing start 11 V2.02

from Stardock Forums

 HI i have latest build of Start 11 v2.02 with official build of win 11    and windows PRO style of win 11 enabled 

very often i recieve  the problem when the icons are disappear or as you can see  for example Paint  has the wrong icon  no refresh like below 

i tryied to refresh it but it take no effect 

the only way to temporaty fix it is to kill start11 and run it again

easy way to recreate this issue is to refresh the icons  when they are working as expected

I can confirm this on my system. Selecting Refresh icons makes them all disappear. (See below)

The links for the shortcuts are still there, and they work if you click on them,

I have found that restarting Explorer will fix this issue.

Can confirm this happens with me, too.  I have found that reordering the icons in alphabetical order fixes the issue.

EDIT: But it reappears if I try to refresh the icons again, in which case I have to reorder them in alphabetical order again.

Simply restarting Explorer will force the Start11 menu to repaint.

This issue appears to be fixed in the 2.03 (2.0.3.0) Beta version.

Are you talking about the missing icons in the image above?

so i think the orginal issue still exist  but it is fixed in 90%

Do you have all your icons disappearing from the start menu, or just a few like nathan20? Does "Refresh icons" bring them back? Does restarting Explorer bring them back?
